The mission of the Oregon Young Worker Health & Safety Coalition
is to prevent young worker injuries and fatalities. The Coalition educates its constituency of young workers, educators, employers, parents and labor and trade associations through outreach, advocacy and sharing of resources. The Coalition pools its expertise, leverages resources and recognizes the diversity and knowledge of its partners and the voice of young workers. The Coalition asserts that all injuries are preventable, all workers have a right to safe work and that young workers shall be treated respectfully and fairly.
